Ponder This- If they do not have what you want - Go fish!

Children's books and games have taught use so much. All you need to do is remember, then choose wisely so you get another turn.

Frankly Speaking - The wise farmer

Just have a story for this week that just seems fitting based on the economy and life lately for most. There is no doubt, we as a country are going through a tough time. It is easy to get negative and stay there. In life and the universe everything that is negative has a positive and with that let me tell you this story. I know that it comes from the eastern culture but not sure of it's origin.

There was a farming in a small village. A man was passing through town and met this farmer.
The visitor gave the man a horse and the whole village said "That is so lucky". He said, "you think?"

The next day the farmer's son rode the horse and fell off. He broke his leg. The whole village said  "Wow, that is so unlucky". The farmer replied, "You think?"

The country was at war and the next day notice was give to this small village that sons must report for duty. He son could not go because he broke his leg. The whole village said "That is so lucky". He said, "You think?"

I love this story and it reminds me that no matter what happens in life... it will always have a positive and a negative to it. So if I feel like I am going through something that is hard, I remind myself of this story and I know that the positive is just around the corner. It may be in the time frame of the universe and not always mine. Never the less... it is still coming.

Keep the faith and be the change you want to see in this world.

Ponder This- Thinking we achieved understanding is only standing where we think we think we are!

Communication is a never ending cycle. Intention is expressed and a perception is gained. Then, a perception is clarified and Understanding is achieved. Then another intention is a expressed. We are all accumulating information at all times to achieve higher levels of understand till this life ends, so make it fun.

Frankly Speaking - Perception + Communication = Understanding?

So, when we feel a need to learn a healthier way to communicate, because we have just self destructed our world, as we know it; there are things we can do. All of our experiences play out like tapes in our heads. The good, the bad, and the ugly play like music that is not always pleasant.<< MORE >>

Ponder This - Lessons from Geese

Lessons from Geese Fact 1 As each goose flaps its wings, it creates an “uplift” for the birds that follow. By flying in a “V” formation, the whole flock has 71% greater flying range than if each bird flew alone. Lesson People who share a common direction and sense of community can get where they are going quicker and easier, because they are traveling on the thrust of each other. << MORE >>

Frankly Speaking - The Other Four Letter Word... Patience

Boy, We hate hearing this word and--it really feels like a four letter word, doesn't it? We also know that when we hear it, it is because we are pushing to make something happen. Not that you just sit back and wait. You do need to take steps towards where you want to be. But if you are pushing to make it happen you will only meet with resistance. We have to remember that if we keep moving in the direction of what we want we will get there, eventually. Eventually is the important part. So many people either push ...<< MORE >>
