Frankly Speaking - The Other Four Letter Word... Patience
Boy, We hate hearing this word sometimes and--it really feels like a four letter word, doesn't it? We also know that when we hear it, it is because we are pushing to make something happen. Not that you just sit back and wait. You do need to take steps towards where you want to be. But if you are pushing to make it happen you will only meet with resistance. We have to remember that if we keep moving in the direction of what we want we will get there, eventually. Eventually is the important part. So many people either push till they are exhausted and give up or they fall on their face in someone else's eyes.
The key thing to remeber is that it may happen but perhaps, not in your timeframe. This is when we hear patience, and when we chose to give up....we will not always know if our choice only determined that we fell short of the mark or it wasn't meant to be.
Leaps of faith are important and as long as we work hard, are determined and use that unshakeable faith...we can many times feel like we moved mountains.
If this was your last moment on earth, what would you want your legacy to be? Live your Possibilies!!!!

Hi all!
I can relate to this topic when it comes to my EIT exam. I continue to take this exam and have yet to pass it. I am trying to have patience. It is really hard to be patient. I am going to take the exam again this fall so hopefully....things will work out eventually when it comes to this part of my life.

Hi Sasha,
Things that we "want" the most can be some of the hardest things to have patience about. Then we set ourselves up with doubt and low self value...it sets the stage for failure. If you do the work...you have.....you use the frame of mind that would fit the job.....in other words seeing it and being it every day....and then you use patience as a friend...to help keep you company while the jury is out....sort of speaking....you'd be doing all positive. And positiive brings positive. Sasha your fear of failing again, is your undermining tool that allows you to play victim to the situation. Get rid of it. You are smart enough, you study....walk your walk.
